“This is the last time that we’ll be together,” Christina Agudero says.
“We’re gonna get married.
This is the day.”
The actress will appear on the season finale of the ABC show on May 13 at 9 p.m.
ET/PT on The CW.
“This is so exciting for us,” she told reporters on Wednesday.
“I just want to make sure that this is what we’ve been waiting for.”
Aguilerazs first onscreen role came in the 2015 hit “The Catch.”
She is the daughter of an actor, and was raised by a grandmother in the Bronx, where her parents had lived prior to moving to Los Angeles.
Aguilleras said she wanted to have a different perspective on the way she grew up and how she had to fight to get ahead.
“I wanted to tell a story about the struggles that we went through,” she said.
“That’s something that I think is really important to tell because we don’t know that in the world.
We don’t really know how the world really works.
And so I wanted to take this opportunity to really tell a new story.”
The actor is known for playing an unconventional role in her career.
In the ’90s, she made her breakout in the series “Pretty Little Liars,” playing the mother of a young teenager who was sexually abused by her stepfather.
“My mother is an amazing person,” Aguilaros co-star Emily Browning said in an interview with the “This Is Your Life” website.
“She has incredible energy and love for her kids and a very special sense of humor.”
In the new season, the actress will be playing a middle-aged woman named “Diana” who is married to a wealthy man, and their two children are being raised by their mother.
Aguilleros, who also stars in “The Flash,” said she feels like she has found a home in the role.
“We’ve been on this journey together, so we have this opportunity together to do something that we have always wanted to do together, and that’s something I’ve never felt like I could do in my whole life,” she explained.
“And so I’m really excited.”
The season premiere of “This… is the Last…
Us” will be available May 13 on the CW.
