Beauty brand Pixi Beauty gets $3.9 billion deal from Alibaba for beauty products and services

USA Today (USA) December 17, 2018 8:19:13In a $3 billion deal, Pixi is bringing beauty and beauty products to Alibaba.

It is the largest beauty company in China and the second-largest in the world, according to Bloomberg.

It also owns beauty brand L’Oreal, according the report.

“This transaction is a strategic investment for Pixi and the Alibaba team,” Pixi said in a statement.

“Pixi is committed to building an ecosystem that can power a new generation of high-performance brands that deliver the highest quality and value.”

Alibaba Group has been working with Pixi for more than a decade, the company said in the statement.

Pixi’s products and brands include makeup, beauty products, and skincare.

Alibaba’s Alipay platform will be used to accept payment for Pixis products, according Alibaba.

Pixis beauty products are available in China, the U.K., and Singapore.

Pixiv is a digital platform that includes Pixi, Pixia, and Pixi-branded content.

Pixia is a China-based digital brand with about 4 million monthly active users, according Alipai.

Pixia is the company behind the Pixi beauty products.

Pixica has over 2 million Instagram followers and has more than 4 million Instagram users.

The Pixi deal is expected to close in the second half of 2018, according Pixi.
