Jillian Flynn on ‘The Simpsons’ season seven and her role in the film ‘The Wedding Singer’

Jillian Fletcher Flynn’s Emmy-nominated turn in the comedy “The Simpsons” has been hailed as a breakout role for the actress, who starred as a high school sweetheart and an equally sweet sister in the “Wedding Singer” TV series.

The “Wings” actress was nominated for her performance in the role of Sally Strasser, an English teacher and teacher of the year who is also a college student in the first season of the series.

The actress, known for her hilarious turn as the sarcastic, self-pitying Lisa Simpson on the “Saturday Night Live” sketch show, received a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Sally, and has been described as “one of the funniest, most smart and vulnerable female characters on television” in a recent profile.

Flynn has also received an Emmy nomination for the role, and her Emmy win is the highest honor for the show.

Flynn is now in the midst of filming the next season of “The Wedding Song,” which will premiere in March 2019.

The “Bachelorette” season seven, which premieres April 18 on ABC, is set to be filmed in a California ranch that is a part of the Simpson family.

“The Wedding Singers” also stars Rachel Bilson, Amy Poehler, Matt LeBlanc, Kevin Hart, Nick Offerman, Nick Viall, Robert Knepper, and Matt Walsh.
